I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience working with people from many different backgrounds and stages of life.
I am very solution focused. I like to help people figure out where they want to go, what is getting in the way, and what we can actually do about it. Therapy with me is not just about talking. I want you to leave with useful ideas, practical steps, and things you can work on between sessions.
I will work hard alongside you, but I also believe change takes effort outside the therapy room. The clients I tend to work best with are willing to be curious, try things, and put some of what we talk about into practice.
My style is warm, direct, and down to earth, and humor often finds its way into sessions. Therapy can involve serious things without every minute having to feel heavy.
Outside of work, I am a serious dog lover and a strong advocate for animals. I do what I can to foster, support rescue efforts, and speak up for animals who need someone in their corner.
I provide online therapy to adults located in Florida, California, Massachusetts, and Illinois.
These are therapeutic approaches I incorporate into my practice as clinically appropriate. I am not credentialed or certified specifically in these modalities.
I work with adults on anxiety, trauma-related distress, distressing memories, phobias, grief, emotional triggers, and reactions that continue to feel unresolved. My practice offers focused private-pay Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and private-pay individual therapy directly through Safe & Empowered Counseling. Insurance-based individual therapy is available separately through Grow Therapy.
Not every client is a fit for ART. Not every client needs it. What I can offer is honest assessment, a clear plan, and the willingness to say when a different approach or a different level of care would serve you better.
