Three service options are available. Private-pay ART is the focused, primary offering. Private-pay individual therapy and insurance-based therapy through Grow Therapy are also available.
For appointments scheduled directly through Safe & Empowered Counseling (private-pay ART and private-pay individual therapy), sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice — including no-shows — will be charged a $50 late cancellation fee.

Superbills are not automatically provided. If you plan to submit a superbill for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement, please request it in writing before your session. There is no guarantee of reimbursement — that decision is made by your insurance carrier based on your specific plan.
Private-pay sessions are paid by credit card at the time of scheduling or before the session. A credit card is kept on file for late cancellation and no-show fees.
Clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided when required under the No Surprises Act and may also be requested at any time.
Under the No Surprises Act, uninsured and self-pay clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of non-emergency health care services, including therapy. If you are paying privately for ART or other services, you may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling.
For services scheduled through Grow Therapy, Grow may provide platform-specific billing information and estimates. For private-pay services scheduled directly with Safe and Empowered Counseling, Safe and Empowered Counseling will provide the Good Faith Estimate.
