Refer for Focused ART While Remaining the Primary Therapist

There are times when a client is making progress in therapy but continues to struggle with a specific memory, fear, trigger, image, or emotional reaction. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) may be an additional option to consider.

I can provide focused ART while your client continues ongoing therapy with you. When appropriate and with the client's written permission, I am happy to coordinate care so our roles remain clear and the work supports the client's overall treatment.

When an ART referral may be worth considering

How it works

  1. 1

The client submits a brief inquiry through Safe & Empowered Counseling.

  2. 2

Susan determines whether ART may be clinically appropriate.

  3. 3

If the client wants care coordination, a written release is completed.

  4. 4

Susan provides focused ART while the referring therapist remains the primary therapist.

  5. 5

With permission, Susan can communicate relevant treatment information with the referring therapist.
